​Community Service Work

Course overview

​Community Service Work is administered by every Community Corrections Office in NSW. This workshop is designed to provide staff involved in administering Community Service Work with the knowledge and skills required to manage Orders with a work condition.

Course outcomes

This course equips learners with the legislative requirements of community service conditions, includes training on undertaking work site inspections and how to manage the program using OIMS.

On completion of this workshop, you will be eligible to enrol in the Community Service Work Assessment which is aligned to the Unit of Competency CSCOFM043 Supervise community work programs in partial completion of the CSC40122 Certificate IV in Correctional Practice.

Entry requirements

Open to all staff involved in the administration of Community Service Order Scheme.

Delivery mode

This workshop will require completion of the following;

  • Prerequisite online component (4 hours)
  • Face-to-face / Virtual attendance (3 days)

Course start dates

The course will start on the following dates:

  • 15 October 2024
  • 12 November 2024
