Victims Registers

A Victims Register allows victims of crime the option to be kept informed about changes to the status of an offender.

There are three victims registers in NSW:

Victims of forensic patients

Victims Services is responsible for maintaining the Specialist Victims Register for victims of forensic patients.

Victims of adult offenders

Corrective Services NSW maintains a register for victims of adult offenders who were found guilty of a crime, have been sentenced by the courts and are currently in custody.

Visit CSNSW Victims Register for more information.

Victims of youth offenders

Youth Justice maintains the register for victims of young offenders who were found guilty of a crime, have been sentenced by the courts and are currently in custody in a Youth Justice centre.

Visit Youth Justice Victims Register for more information.
