    You can use this form to claim up to $20,000 for loss of earnings if you’re a person who has been injured as a direct result of an act of violence or modern slavery (primary victim) or a parent, step-parent or guardian who is caring for a child who has been injured as a direct result of an act of violence or modern slavery.
