The type of support available for those who have been impacted by the acts of violence at Bondi Beach will depend on their situation:

** Additional financial support is available to cover the cost of a funeral.

An additional lump sum payment is available for some victims through the Bondi Beach Victim Recovery Payment, jointly funded by the Australian and NSW Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
You don’t need to make a separate application for the Bondi Beach Victim Recovery Payment.
Eligible victims who apply under the NSW Victims Support Scheme will be considered for the Bondi Beach Victim Recovery Payment.
To be eligible for the Bondi Beach Victim Recovery Payment as a primary victim you must apply for a recognition payment under the Victims Support Scheme by 13 December 2027.
To be eligible for the Bondi Beach Victim Recovery Payment as a family victim you must apply for support under the Victims Support Scheme by 13 December 2027.
